Better Together India (BTI) Trust is an organization that works towards providing education to the underprivileged sections of society. We believe that education is crucial for individuals to lead a successful life, and it also plays a significant role in the country’s overall growth and development. We work closely with schools, communities, and government authorities to identify the areas where intervention is needed the most. Our approach is to create sustainable environmental changes in the education system, making it accessible and affordable to everyone.

Better Together India Trust works towards promoting education in India through various initiatives such as providing scholarships, improving school infrastructure, supporting teacher training programs, and facilitating access to quality education for underprivileged children. Our approach towards education is comprehensive, and we work in various ways to provide support to every student. Here’s how we work towards education:

  • Partnering with schools: One of our primary approaches to education is through partnerships with schools in rural areas. We collaborate with government schools and provide them with resources like books, computers, and other technological aids to enhance the students’ learning experience.
  • Scholarship Programs: We believe that financial constraints should not limit one’s access to education. Therefore, BTI Trust provides scholarships to deserving students who cannot afford to pay their fees. Better Together India provides scholarships to meritorious but underprivileged students across India to help them pursue their education and build a better future.
  • Skill development programs: We organize skill development programs to improve the students’ skills. This helps them in acquiring jobs and improving their economic conditions.
  • Career guidance: We provide career guidance to students in rural areas to make them aware of different career options as per their interest and ability. BTI provides career guidance to students through various methods, such as counseling sessions, workshops and seminars, career fairs, online resources, based on this, we guide them towards suitable career paths and suggest courses and colleges.

    Overall, our aim is to empower students with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their career paths and succeed in their chosen fields.

  • Health and hygiene: We organize several campaigns to spread awareness about health and hygiene among students and their families. This helps in increasing attendance in schools and improving the overall living conditions.
  • School Infrastructure: We work towards improving school infrastructure by constructing new classrooms, providing necessary equipment like blackboards, benches, and desks to schools, and promoting the development of clean and hygiene facilities.
  • Teacher Training: We support teacher training programs aimed at enhancing the teaching skills of teachers. Our training programs encompass teaching methodologies, innovative classroom practices, and digital literacy.
  • Digital Education: We also facilitate access to digital education for children in remote areas through our digital classrooms program. We provide access to high-quality educational content to students in rural areas through our digital classes.

Our Better Together Education Centers serve as hubs for community engagement, where students, teachers, parents, and local residents can come together for various activities and through our Better Together Education Centers, we aim to build strong and resilient communities. We collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to deliver impactful health programs and services. Our partnerships help us to leverage expertise, resources, and reach, enabling us to deliver high-quality health services to more people. Through our various health initiatives, we aim to promote health equity and ensure that everyone has access to quality healthcare services and information.

  • Community Health Programs: We organize community health programs designed to educate people on a range of health issues such as reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent Health, hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention. We educate people on the importance of early detection of diseases and encourage them to seek medical attention.   • Emergency Response: Our team of volunteers and staff mobilize immediately after a disaster strikes to provide emergency relief such as food, water, shelter, and medical aid to affected communities. We work with local authorities, non-profit organizations, and community groups to ensure that aid reaches those who need it the most.
  • Rehabilitation and Reconstruction: Once the emergency relief phase is over, we work on the rehabilitation and reconstruction of communities. This includes providing support to rebuild homes, schools, and infrastructure, and restoring livelihoods through vocational training and income-generating activities.
  • Capacity Building: We aim to empower communities by building their capacity to respond to emergencies.
